A strategic alliance to boost the professional development of the Portuguese club’s performance experts.
The Football Science Institute (FSI) has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Vitória Sport Clube, one of Portugal’s most iconic clubs, aiming to provide a solid academic and scientific foundation in Sports Sciences applied to football. This partnership’s primary goal is to promote the continuous training of the club’s professionals in the performance area, enhancing excellence in their daily work.
Through this collaboration, FSI strengthens its mission to bridge scientific knowledge with professional practice in elite football. Vitória SC’s professionals will gain access to FSI’s global platform, which consists of a network of over 130 members from 55 clubs worldwide, while benefiting from projects that advance Sports Science.
Francisco Reyes, FSI’s General Manager, expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership:

This partnership reinforces our commitment to supporting football professionals in their training and growth while contributing together to the advancement of scientific knowledge. ”

What Does This New Partnership Mean for FSI Training Students?
FSI offers a high-level educational portfolio, consisting of seven internationally recognized master’s programs that combine theory, academic research, and practical experience with elite clubs. Additionally, through the FSI Lab, the institution contributes to the development of scientific knowledge by publishing in academic journals.
The areas of specialization include sports medicine, rehabilitation, performance, nutrition, tactical analysis, and training, establishing FSI as a global leader in the training and development of football professionals.
