Alfredo Santalla is a professor of Exercise Physiology at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Spain and Academic Director of the Master’s Program in Strength and Conditioning in Football at FSI Training. In these roles, he leads the education of new specialists in physical performance and sports science, leveraging his extensive experience in elite football.

Professional Career

With a distinguished career in sports physiology, Alfredo Santalla has served as an external consultant in physiology, workload monitoring, and nutrition for the first team of Real Betis Balompié S.A.D. His research focuses on performance evaluation, workload management, and physiological adaptations in football, complemented by his consultancy work with professional players. Specializing in laboratory player analysis, biological monitoring, and the design of nutritional and ergogenic plans, Santalla has significantly contributed to optimizing physical performance in football through a scientific and applied approach.
