Enda King is the Director of Performance and Development at Aspetar Academy, where he integrates his roles as a sports physiotherapist, strength and conditioning coach, researcher, and educator. His work focuses on optimizing performance and efficient recovery for athletes after severe injuries.

Professional Career

Enda completed his PhD at Roehampton University in London, researching the impact of 3D biomechanical analysis on recovery following anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. He has worked with elite athletes across disciplines such as football, the NBA, NFL, NHL, rugby, golf, and UFC. Before joining Aspetar, he led the ACL rehabilitation and athletic groin pain programs at the Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin. He developed clinical and research protocols combining advanced biomechanics and personalized rehabilitation for high-performance athletes. With over 40 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, Enda is a leading authority on biomechanics applied to rehabilitation and performance. He is also the author of the hip and groin chapter in Sports Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation.
