Jaume Vives
Currently
Jaume Vives Ferragut is a UEFA-Pro certified football coach and a professor at the Coaches’ School of the Balearic Islands Football Federation (FFIB). He is currently responsible for the methodology area of the Balearic Women’s U-15 National Team and the Balearic Men’s U-16 National Team.
Professional Career
Jaume began his coaching career as an assistant with youth teams at CIDE (1998-2001) and Penya Arrabal (2001-2003). While studying at INEF in Barcelona, he coached youth teams at Calldetenes and Vic-Remei. Between 2006 and 2008, he served as assistant coach for FC Barcelona's Cadete B team, winning the Nike Cup World in Manchester. Upon returning to Mallorca, he held key roles at Juv. Sallista and RCD Mallorca, where he worked as a fitness trainer and coach in youth categories, achieving promotions and notable results.
He was also an assistant coach at Atlético Baleares in Spain’s Segunda División B (2012) and head coach of Petra in Tercera División (2017-2018). Jaume is widely recognized for his experience in developing youth talent through academies like FC Barcelona and RCD Mallorca. His approach combines methodological training and fitness preparation, supported by extensive experience in clubs and regional teams.
