Jean-Benoît (JB) Morin is a full professor and head of the Department of Sport Sciences and Physical Education at Université Jean Monnet in Saint-Étienne, France. He is also an associate researcher at Auckland University of Technology and a visiting professor at Loughborough University. His work focuses on human movement biomechanics and sports performance.

Professional Career

JB Morin has extensive academic and research experience. Since 2020, he has been a full professor at Université Jean Monnet, and previously held the same position at Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis for six years. He has published over 350 scientific articles, with more than 13,700 citations, establishing himself as a global authority in sports biomechanics and exercise physiology. His international collaborations include roles as an associate researcher at Auckland University of Technology since 2015 and a visiting professor at Loughborough University since 2020.
Additionally, he serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Sports Sciences and is an associate editor specializing in sports performance. JB also collaborates with the Football Science Institute as a professor in its educational programs.
