Marcel Sans

Marcel Sans has been the Assistant Coach for Methodology at FC Barcelona for the U-18 team since July 2015. In this role, he is deeply involved in training young players, implementing the club's renowned football methodology. He also holds a strong academic background in sports sciences and team performance, having completed a Professional Master’s Degree in Team Sports Performance at the University of Barcelona.

Professional Career

Marcel has more than 20 years of experience coaching youth football. At FC Barcelona, he previously served as head coach for the U-13 and U-12 teams, contributing to the training and development of young players between 2011 and 2015. Prior to his time at Barcelona, he coached youth teams at UDAT Gramenet from 2002 to 2008, working with players from U-10 to U-18. His coaching career began at CF Escola de Llavaneras, where he coached categories from U-7 to U-14 between 1998 and 2002. Marcel also holds a UEFA Pro License, earned in 2007, and a UEFA A License, obtained in 2006.
