Aaron Coutts

Aaron Coutts is a Professor at University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. He is a word-class researcher in Sports Sciences. He is currently director of the Department of Sports Science at the Carlton Football Club (Australia). His professional and research activity focuses especially in control of training load, altitude / heat training and physiological demands of the competition, both in football and in Australian football. He has developed the scientific knowledge that is currently applied (worldwide) in the control of training load in football. His professional activity as consultant or head of performance, includes several professional soccer football, australian football and rugby teams. He is member of the International Advisory Board for the Nike© Research Laboratory and associate editor in several journals such International Journal of Sports Physiology and Performance and Science and Medicine in Football.
