Bernardo Requena

Bernardo Requena is the Sports Director of the Football Science Institute and individual advisor to elite football players. He has been a university professor in Sports Training and High Performance in Football. He is co-author of scientific articles in the context of the physical conditioning of the elite soccer player. Likewise, he has been fitness coach of the first teams of Sevilla FC (2004-2006), Athletic Club (2008 - 2011), Spanish National Teams under-21 and u-20 and Real Madrid (2014 - 2017). In these years as a fitness coach he achieved numerous sporting merits in the different teams, highlighting a UEFA Europa League 2004/05 (Sevilla FC) and two UEFA Champions League (Real Madrid 2015/16 and 2016/17).
