Bernardo Requena is the Sports Director of the Football Science Institute and individual advisor to elite football players. He has been a university professor in Sports Training and High Performance in Football. He is co-author of scientific articles in the context of the physical conditioning of the elite soccer player. Likewise, he has been a strength&conditioning coach of the first team of Sevilla FC (2004 and 2005 seasons), Athletic Club (2008 - 2010) and Real Madrid (2014 - 2017). In these years as a physical trainer he achieved numerous sporting merits in the different teams, highlighting a UEFA Europa League 2004/05 (Sevilla FC), a sub-championship of the Copa del Rey (Athletic Club 2008/09) and two UEFA Champions League (Real Madrid 2015/16 and 2016/17).
