David Joyce

David Joyce currently the Head of Athletic Performance at the Sydney Giants of the Greater West in the Australian Football League (AFL). His training is in sports medicine as well as in sports / strength and conditioning sciences, and he has master's degrees in sports physiotherapy and exercise sciences. He has worked in professional rugby at club and international level both in the United Kingdom and Australia, in clubs and international football (soccer) in the English Premier League and in Turkey (Blackburn Rovers, Galatasaray), and in 2 Olympic cycles (Team GB for the Beijing Olympics in 2008, and the China Team for the London Olympics in 2012), both as a physical therapist and as a performance coach. He has worked with hundreds of elite athletes, including several world and Olympic champions, and is an internationally recognized leader in elite sports performance and sports medicine. He has also published 2 books on integrated high performance (High Performance Training For Sports, and Sports Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation) and his work has been translated into many languages ​​around the world.
