Raquel Urbano is a strength and conditioning coach & a sports injury reconditioner and is part of the FSI Faculty in the reconditioning and sport injury module. She graduated at the Pablo de Olavide University (Seville) in 2010, holds a Master's Degree in Education (2010-2011, Pablo de Olavide University - Seville), a Master's Degree in Physical Activity and Health (2012-2013, Internacional de Andalucía University - Seville) and is currently completing her Physiotherapy studies at the Camilo José Cela University (Madrid).
Raquel is the owner and CEO of Synergic Clinic (training, reconditioning injury, physiotherapy, nutrition and chiropody center). Since July 2007, she works as a physical trainer and rehabilitating professional football players, rugby players, runners, among others.
Raquel has an extensive background in injury reconditioning, prevention and as a data analyst (GPS) in top-level football players, having worked in the Real Betis Balompié Academy (2012-2013) as the coordinator of the rehabilitation area and as a data analyst at the first team of Real Betis Balompié (2014-2016), as well as injury reconditioning – prevention – analyzing data at the first team of Real Betis Balompié (2016-2019).
She has collaborated at the Pablo de Olavide University in the Master's Degree Conditioning and Reconditioning sport injury (2012-2018).
Since 2018, she has been collaborating at the Europea de Canarias University in the Master's Degree Conditioning and Reconditioning Injury.
