Robert Naughton is a Senior Lecturer in Sport, Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Huddersfield. Robert completed his PhD in Sports Nutrition at Liverpool John Moores University, investigating the nutritional habits of youth football players whilst interning at the academy of Liverpool FC as a Nutritionist. Robert currently works as a Performance Nutritionist Consultant within elite football, and is particularly passionate about nutrition to improve sporting performance/recovery, and nutritional interventions to improve markers of health.
