Stuart Phillips is a Professor and researcher, Director of the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence (PACE) at McMaster University Department of Kinesiology. In addition to being a full Professor in Kinesiology, is also an Associate member of the School of Medicine at McMaster University. He is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). His research is focused on the impact of nutrition and exercise on human skeletal muscle protein turnover, being one of world’s leading researchers on protein. He is also keenly interested in diet and exercise-induced changes in body composition.
