Currently: David Casamichana Gomez is a strength & conditioning coach at the first team of Real Sociedad San Sebastián, Spain
Academic background: He has a PhD in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU), and a Master in research in physical activity and sport from the University of Malaga (UMA). He holds the title of Sports Coach in Football (Level II)
Research paper: In the scientific field, he has given more than a hundred conferences as a guest speaker at national and international conferences and is the author of numerous scientific publications on football training
Experience: Previously, he has been an external advisor at the F.C. Barcelona, physical trainer of the Real Racing Club of Santander and the Gimnástica de Torrelavega football clubs. In addition, he has worked as a physical trainer for professional athletes on an individual basis
