Currrently: Dr. Manuel Leyes is an orthopaedic surgeon at CEMTRO Clinic in Madrid
Academic background: In 1991 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra; in 1996 he obtained the Doctorate in Medicine and the title of Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology from the University Clinic of Navarra; and carried out two two-year Clinical Fellowship subspecialization programs in Sports Traumatology and Ankle and Foot Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Ohio USA). He has been a traumatology consultant for football clubs such as Real Madrid CF, Club Atlético de Madrid, Getafe CF, Real Zaragoza SAD, and many individual professional football players
