Robert Heyworth is a sports scientist, currently Product Specialist at Catapult Sports
Expert in: Football tracking data acquisition and analysis, delivering high performance support to some of the biggest football clubs in Europe
Research papers: He been working with the Catapult data science team to create award winning algorythms to advance the use of inertia sensors within all sports and led in the product rollout of the new Catapult athlete management system throughout Europe, the middle east and africa. Formerly, Rob was working at Blackburn Rovers FC as Data Analyst, assessing the load with which training and matches placed on all first team and under 21 squad players, alongside assessing measures of fatigue and recovery, and testing players levels of fitness
