This module focuses on providing students with a solid understanding of the key concepts and tools needed to obtain, process and analyze soccer data.
The module covers a range of topics, including an introduction to game analysis, the fundamentals of game analysis, current technologies used in soccer analysis, and an introduction to data science and big data.
In this module, participants will learn about organizing and treating information, report templates, and the use of information in weekly work structures. They will also delve into analyzing both their own team and their rivals from a data perspective, as well as designing observation sheets and tagging.
This module offers training in individual analysis of the team itself, goalkeeper analysis, data analytics applied to soccer, soccer metric modeling, and analysis of physical data from game interpretation. Adrien Tarascon is an Assistant Coach at Stade de Reims since July 2024. His work focuses on the tactical and technical development of the team, as well as strengthening the connection between the first team and the club’s academy. His approach includes individual and group sessions to optimize player performance across all categories.

Adrien has a solid track record in professional football. Before joining Stade de Reims, he worked at Lille OSC (2021-2024) as Head of Player Development and Methodology, where he designed individualized programs, developed a new game model for the academy, and led scouting strategies for the first team. At AS Monaco (2020-2021), he implemented data-driven recruitment strategies, contributing to the signing of standout players such as Aurélien Tchouaméni and Youssouf Fofana, and developed specific training methodologies for emerging talents.

Luis Bonilla has been the coach of RC Celta de Vigo Juvenil B since July 2024, leading the team in the Liga Nacional Juvenil. His journey with RC Celta began in July 2022, serving as assistant coach for RC Celta C.

Luis brings a wealth of experience in football. He worked as assistant coach and head of methodology for the first team at Udinese Calcio in Serie A from 2018 to 2020. Before that, he coached the Cadete A team at RC Deportivo de La Coruña and led CF Noia to promotion to the 3rd Division. Additionally, he has held roles in physical preparation and opposition analysis for several teams in the Spanish Segunda División B and Segunda División. If you would like to apply everything you learn in the master’s program, FSI Training offers you the chance to pursue opportunities with elite clubs. We have agreements with over 40 football clubs worldwide, giving you a unique opportunity: to train directly within the internal structure of these clubs and work side by side with their technical team.
Internships are available in either a coaching staff role or as a researcher (through our FSI Labs area). In any case, our internship program is entirely voluntary and it is always open to all FSI Training students. You can choose to intern at a specific club and, if you wish, pursue additional internships with other clubs in the future.
If the internship does not match your preferences, no problem. Participation in internships is optional, and you are free to decline them. Your master’s training will remain fully valid, and you will still receive your certificate.

Yes, students who wish to gain practical experience in a professional soccer club can apply for the internships that FSI Training periodically launches through its Membership program and in collaboration with partner soccer clubs.
They can be carried out in two ways: as interns within the technical staff or as research personnel for the club (through FSI Labs).
It is not mandatory to complete the internship to obtain the master's certificate. However, these internships represent a real opportunity to integrate into the day-to-day structure of a top-level soccer team and offer valuable experience and a gateway to the world of professional soccer.
No, you can obtain the master's certificate without completing an internship. In fact, some of our students already work in the coaching staff of professional clubs and do not need real experience. However, these internships can be very interesting if you are looking for a real opportunity in professional clubs, to put into practice the knowledge learned and start moving in this professional environment without having contacts or previous experience.
