Álvaro Reina is Assistant Coach and Head of Tactical Performance Analysis in the Technical Secretariat of Valencia CF, where he focuses on evaluating and developing advanced tactical strategies to optimize team performance. His role includes detailed analysis of opponents, as well as implementing scouting methodologies and tactical assessments. Additionally, he serves as Co-Director of the Tactical Analyst Master's Program at FSI Training.

Professional Career

With extensive experience in professional football, Álvaro Reina has worked as an assistant coach and head of tactical analysis for teams such as Deportivo Alavés, Málaga CF, Levante UD, AD Alcorcón, the Panama National Team, FC Dnipro, Granada 74, CP Ejido, and Watford FC. His expertise in collective, individual, strategic, and tactical analysis is supported by a PhD in Sports Research, a degree in Sports Science, a Master's in Sports and Research, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and a UEFA Pro License. Recognized for his mastery of football methodology and tactics, he also specializes in performance analysis applications, video editing, and sports assessment, contributing to the development and success of high-performance teams.
