His role at FSI Training
Adrien Tarascon is a member of the Football Science Institute faculty, bringing an advanced perspective on tactical analysis, player development and applied methodology within elite professional football.
Currently
Since December 2025, he has been working as First Team Coach and Player Development Specialist at Olympique Lyonnais, operating directly within an elite football environment and linking tactical planning with the individual development of players.
His role focuses on the technical and tactical development of first-team players, as well as on optimising transition processes and talent progression within one of the most renowned academies in European football.
Professional background
Adrien has built a solid career in professional football. Prior to joining Olympique Lyonnais, he was part of the coaching staff at Stade de Reims as an assistant coach, contributing to the tactical and technical development of the first team and strengthening the link between the academy and professional football.
Between 2021 and 2024, he worked at Lille OSC as Head of Player Development and Methodology, where he designed individualised development programmes, implemented a new playing model for the academy and led scouting strategies aligned with first-team requirements.
Previously, at AS Monaco (2020–2021), he implemented data-driven recruitment strategies, contributing to the signing of players such as Aurélien Tchouaméni and Youssouf Fofana, while also developing specific training methodologies for emerging talents.
During his time at Paris Saint-Germain (2015–2020), he led the Game Analysis and Information Systems department, working closely with the coaching staff on the implementation of an offensive playing model and the development of individualised methodologies for the first team.
He also coordinated scouting processes and opponent analysis, integrating advanced technologies and customised metrics to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
Adrien began his career as an International Development Project Manager (2014–2015), an experience that allowed him to develop a comprehensive and international perspective on professional football.
His experience spans tactical analysis, player development and the implementation of data-driven performance strategies, consolidating his profile as a key professional in modern elite football.
