His role at FSI Training
Manuel Leyes is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing a clinical and applied perspective in sports traumatology and orthopaedic surgery within high-performance environments.
Currently
He is Director of the medical team at Leyes, Flores & Asociados, carrying out his clinical activity at Clínica CEMTRO in Madrid, with a specialised focus on sports injuries, knee, and shoulder pathology.
In addition, he acts as a ski injury consultant for ARAMON and the Madrid Winter Sports Federation, and collaborates as a specialist in knee and shoulder pathology at the Mapfre Tennis Medicine Clinic.
Professional background
With an internationally recognised career in sports medicine, he has served as a traumatology consultant for clubs such as Atlético de Madrid, Real Zaragoza, and Getafe CF, as well as for several Spanish sports federations.
His experience includes periods in professional sport in the United States with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians, along with participation in international programmes of the European Society of Knee Surgery, consolidating a profile that integrates clinical practice, research, and evidence-based medicine.
