In parallel, he maintains an academic role as an associate researcher at Liverpool John Moores University, combining applied practice with scientific research in sports nutrition.
Professional background
He has developed a strong career within elite performance environments, holding senior roles at clubs and organisations such as Aston Villa FC, the Qatar Football Association, and Aspire Academy, where he led nutrition programmes for player development and high performance.
Holding a PhD in applied physiology and sports nutrition, his work has focused particularly on optimising energy demands and designing sport-specific nutritional strategies for footballers and elite athletes.
