Dr. Mikel Aramberri is part of the FSI Training faculty, providing a leading clinical and surgical perspective in sports traumatology applied to elite football, with a particular focus on medical decision-making in high-performance environments.

Currently

He currently works as an orthopaedic surgeon for Real Madrid and the National Rugby Team, carrying out his clinical practice within orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine.

Professional background

He is a specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Traumatology, with extensive experience in shoulder and knee pathology, and founder of the ALAI Sports Medicine Clinic, where he leads a multidisciplinary team focused on the athlete’s full functional recovery.

His training includes a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Institut Dexeus, as well as international advanced training programmes in complex arthroscopic techniques.

Throughout his career, he has worked with elite athletes and has been actively involved in medical education and research, consolidating a profile centred on minimally invasive surgery, functional rehabilitation, and improving patients’ quality of life.
