Óscar Perarnau is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing a strategic and applied perspective on sports management, team leadership, and decision-making within professional football environments.
Currently
He is a UEFA PRO licensed coach and lecturer at several reference institutions, combining his teaching activity with the transfer of practical knowledge acquired in high-level competitive contexts.
Professional background
With more than two decades of experience in football, he has developed his career across both youth development and the professional game. He spent eleven seasons working within the academy structure of RCD Espanyol, coaching teams from under twelve to under nineteen levels and serving as part of the technical staff of the reserve team.
He later worked as assistant coach of the first team and assumed key responsibilities within the club’s professional structure, including the roles of Sporting Director and General Sporting Director, leading sporting strategy during a period of high institutional demand.
Alongside his professional career, he maintains a strong academic profile as a lecturer in advanced programmes focused on sports management and football leadership, recognised for his ability to integrate field experience with a structured, strategic vision of performance and organisation.
