Richard Allison is part of the FSI Training faculty, providing an international reference in nutrition applied to high performance and in the design of individualised competition and recovery strategies within professional football.

Currently

He serves as Consultant in Performance Nutrition at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) in London, where he develops tailored programmes for elite athletes. His work integrates body composition analysis, clinical support, and performance-oriented nutrition planning.

Professional background

He was Head of Performance Nutrition at Arsenal FC, leading first-team nutrition education and recovery programming. During this period, he designed specific strategies to optimise performance, competitive availability, and injury rehabilitation.

Holding a PhD in Sports Nutrition and Dietetics, he combines clinical experience and elite sport practice with a strong scientific foundation. His approach is characterised by rigorous evidence-based application to maximise performance, health, and long-term sustainability in professional football.
