Susana Ferreras is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing a strategic perspective on data analytics applied to football and its role in elite club decision-making.

Her approach combines modelling, visualisation and advanced analysis to translate data insights into tactical and organisational performance contexts.

Currently

She is Data Analytics Lead at Arsenal F.C., where she leads the Research and Insights team, supporting executives, the men’s and women’s first teams, and the academy through analytical tools, reports, and predictive models.

Her work integrates event and tracking data within a strategic framework aimed at optimising performance and long-term sporting planning.

Professional background

Before joining Arsenal, she built over a decade of experience in the telecommunications sector, leading Business Intelligence and Big Data projects at companies such as Telefónica and Vodafone.

In sport, she has worked with the Spanish Women’s National Basketball Team in international competitions and has held academic leadership and teaching roles in postgraduate programmes focused on analytics and Big Data.
