Andrew Franklyn-Miller is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing his extensive expertise in sports medicine, athlete health, injury prevention, and high-performance environments.

Currently

Chief Medical and Innovation Officer at Nuritas, where he leads medical strategy and innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, nutrition, and preventative healthcare. He also serves as Medical Director for Great Britain and England Hockey, overseeing player health, wellbeing, and performance strategies at the national level.

Professional background

Andrew Franklyn-Miller has over 25 years of clinical experience in sports and exercise medicine. He previously served as Director of SSC Sports Medicine, where he founded and scaled one of Europe’s largest sports medicine practices, expanding services from 5,000 to more than 40,000 patients per year through innovation in biomechanics, data-driven rehabilitation, and clinical research.

He is a UK-registered Consultant Physician in Sports and Exercise Medicine and has worked with international elite teams including Great Britain Hockey, England Rugby, GB Rowing, New Zealand Rugby, and professional clubs across multiple sports. His work combines clinical practice with advanced biomechanics, machine learning, and applied research to optimize athlete health and performance.

In parallel with his clinical and executive roles, he is an active academic contributor with over 60 peer-reviewed publications and several authored textbooks, and regularly collaborates on research and innovation projects within elite sport and healthcare.
