Fernando Hernández Abad is part of the FSI Training faculty, providing an expert perspective in sports rehabilitation and physical performance, with a strong integration between clinical practice and the sporting context.

He holds a PhD in Health Sciences and is a professor at Universidad Europea de Canarias. He also works as a sports rehabilitation specialist at the Athlete Care Unit of Hospital San Juan de Dios and within the RTP neuromuscular phase at FC Barcelona.

With more than 25 years of experience, he has developed his career as a strength and conditioning coach and rehabilitation specialist for high-performance athletes, collaborating with professional athletes and teams across different competitive environments.

Since 1999, he has worked continuously in physical preparation, standing out for the application of vector-based functional training and strategies aimed at performance optimisation and injury prevention.

His profile combines university teaching, clinical practice, and external consultancy for federations and professional teams, delivering an evidence-based approach with a strong focus on effective transfer to elite sport.
