Jo Clubb is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing an applied and international perspective in sport sciences, with a strong emphasis on translating data into decision-making within high-performance environments.

Currently

She works as an international sports science consultant and is the founder of Global Performance Insights, providing bespoke support to athletes, teams, and sport organisations. She also serves as a technical consultant for FIFA and collaborates with sports technology companies.

Professional background

She has more than a decade of experience in elite sport, having worked as an applied sport scientist across top-level competitions such as the NFL, the NHL, and the English Premier League.

Her career includes roles at clubs such as Chelsea FC and Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as professional franchises in the United States, where she specialised in training load monitoring, athlete management, and performance support systems.

She complements her applied work with university teaching, scientific dissemination, and practitioner mentoring, standing out for her ability to make sport science accessible and actionable in real-world performance contexts.
