Ollie Morgan is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing an applied perspective in performance development and rehabilitation within youth football, grounded in evidence-based practice and long-term player development.

Currently

He is Head of Academy Performance Support at Leicester City Football Club, where he leads the academy performance support area and coordinates a multidisciplinary team focused on the physical development of elite youth football players.

Professional background

With more than a decade of experience in professional football, his work has been primarily focused on youth development and rehabilitation. Prior to joining Leicester City, he served as Head of Academy Sports Science at Celtic Football Club, leading physical development processes for emerging talent over a three-year period.

Before his time at Celtic, he spent over seven years within the sports science department at Liverpool Football Club, specialising in rehabilitation processes and return-to-play strategies in high-performance, interdisciplinary environments.

Alongside his professional role, he is completing a Professional Doctorate at Liverpool John Moores University, with research focused on multidirectional movement characteristics in elite youth football players, integrating applied research with daily practice in both academic and performance settings.
