Pat Noonan is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing an applied perspective on team leadership and coaching methodology, shaped by extensive experience in professional football environments in the United States.

Currently

He is Head Coach of FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer, where he leads the first team and oversees competitive strategy, player development, and staff coordination at the highest domestic level.

Professional background

Following his retirement as a professional player, he transitioned directly into coaching, initially working as an assistant coach at LA Galaxy and later within the United States Men’s National Team technical staff.

He then served as assistant coach at the Philadelphia Union, playing a key role in the club’s competitive growth and organisational stability over multiple seasons in MLS.

His career combines elite-level playing experience, including international caps with the United States, with a progressive coaching pathway focused on leadership, culture building, and sustainable performance in professional football.
