Rob Naughton is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing an applied and evidence-based perspective in performance nutrition and body composition in football, with a strong focus on practical work within team environments.

Currently

He works as a performance nutritionist with the England Women’s Cricket team and collaborates with professional organisations such as Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, Donegal GAA, and Swansea City Football Club, integrating nutrition within high-performance sporting structures.

Professional background

He has extensive applied experience in professional sport, having worked as a performance nutritionist with organisations such as the England & Wales Cricket Board, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, and as a nutrition consultant for Celtic Football Club.

In academia, he has served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield, delivering teaching in sport, exercise, and nutrition sciences while maintaining an active role in elite sport.

At FSI Training, he delivers sessions focused on body composition evaluation in football, nutritional strategies to optimise body mass, and practical nutrition in team environments, translating scientific evidence into day-to-day decision-making in high-performance contexts.
