The Spanish Footballers’ Association (AFE) and FSI Training have signed a strategic collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening the academic and professional development of union-affiliated footballers.

This agreement will allow more than 15,000 AFE members to access FSI Training’s educational programs under special conditions. FSI Training is an international platform specialized in football science applied to high performance.

Education Adapted to the Active Footballer

A professional football career is demanding and limited in duration. For this reason, both institutions share a clear vision: preparation for “the day after” must begin while the player is still active.

FSI Training’s programs are designed to provide 100 percent online, flexible education compatible with the dynamics of professional football. This allows players to study from anywhere in the world, with permanent access to updated academic content and guidance from leading experts in the field.

A Model Based on Science and Real-World Experience

FSI Training combines academic research, applied knowledge, and practical experience within professional clubs. Its faculty includes sports scientists and practitioners with proven experience in elite football environments.

In addition, the institution maintains agreements with more than 40 clubs internationally, enabling students to access professional internships tailored to their profile and circumstances.

This approach directly addresses the current needs of the sector, where technical staffs are becoming increasingly specialized and new professional roles are emerging in areas such as performance analysis, strength and conditioning, nutrition, injury rehabilitation, and mental support.

New Professional Opportunities

The agreement between AFE and FSI Training not only facilitates access to academic education but also expands professional opportunities for footballers once their competitive careers come to an end.

The continuous evolution of football demands constant updating and specialization. In this context, the collaboration represents an important step in strengthening the professional development of union members, providing concrete tools to plan their future with greater security.

A Shared Commitment

The signing of this agreement reinforces both institutions’ commitment to the holistic development of professional footballers. At FSI Training, we understand that education is not a complementary option, but a strategic investment in the long-term stability and projection of players.

This agreement marks another step forward in building an ecosystem that connects education, science, and professional practice in service of football.
