1 month since the launch of the Advanced Football Nutrition Master
Time flies, and with it, our launch early bird has come to an end. The initial discount is now over, but if you are or have been a student at our institution, you still have two options available, both even more beneficial than the general discount.
Purchase options for students
Special promotion for all FSI students and alumni
As always, FSI students benefit from a special 20% discount. If you are interested, message us via WhatsApp and we will guide you through it.
Promotion for graduates of the 4-module Nutritionist Master
If you already completed the master in its previous format, we will discount up to 980€, an amount equivalent to what you had already paid. In addition to the existing content, we have also expanded the syllabus.
By the way… did you know you can complete your second master with credit recognition?
If you have already studied with us, you can access new content at a much lower cost. Some modules are shared across more than one master, which means you can obtain a new qualification by completing only those you have not previously taken. And of course, the qualification has exactly the same value once the programme is completed.
| Completed Master | Can be credited toward | Recognised modules |

Automated diplomas
We continue to bring new updates for our students. Recently, we added a new feature: FSI students can now receive their qualification automatically after completing the master.
In addition, all diplomas include a QR code to validate their authenticity.
Partner clubs: new renewals
Two Spanish clubs, in this case Valencia C.F. and Cádiz C.F., have decided to continue backing FSI Training’s education for another year.
The renewal of both agreements will remain in place for 365 days. This will allow us to continue training professionals from both clubs and keep sending students on internships to two sporting institutions recognised internationally. From the entire FSI team, we thank them for their trust and look forward to continuing to make the most of this collaboration.
We are opening access to many of the papers from FSI Lab
If you are passionate about football science and performance-based applied research, this will interest you. We have created specific pages for each research line, where you will be able to find open-access articles to read and download. You can click on any of the cards to access the different research lines.

Football science updates of the month: recommendations by Fábio Nakamura
This month, the focus is on microcycle planning, selected by our expert Fábio Nakamura.
As you already know, microcycles are short training periods, usually lasting one week, in which everything the player or team does is organised in a structured way. With the end of the season and international tournaments on the horizon, this topic becomes more relevant than ever.
Hamstrings on focus: Are 72 hours sufficient for recovery after a football match?
At 72 hours post-match, sprint-related performance factors and hamstring injury risk do not fully recover, with persistent structural damage still present. Insight: the standard 72-hour gap between matches may not be enough to protect the player.
Planning the Microcycle in Elite Football: To Rest or Not to Rest?
Scheduling rest on D+2 rather than D+1 is associated with a two- to threefold reduction in non-contact injuries in short microcycles. Insight: when you rest is just as important as how much you train.
Does microcycle length influence the external and internal load in professional female soccer players?
Training load varies significantly depending on the length of the microcycle, affecting both perceived exertion and key physical variables. Insight: a short microcycle cannot be planned in the same way as a long one.
If you have made it this far, we would like to share an exclusive with you:
Very soon, we will be holding a new FSI Training event. This time, it will focus on a very specific topic: nutrition applied to football.
We will soon share more updates and confirm speakers. Those subscribed to the newsletter will receive the news before anyone else, together with special benefits.
Do you want to receive the latest in football science before anyone else?
Subscribe to the FSI newsletter and receive each month the most relevant content in football science and high performance, up to 15 days before its publication on the website.
