New strategic agreement between FSI Training and Coritiba Foot Ball Club

Football Science Institute (FSI) and Coritiba Foot Ball Club have signed a strategic collaboration agreement in 2026 with the aim of strengthening the integration between scientific knowledge and professional practice within high-performance football. This alliance will allow the club to enhance its technical and sporting structure, participate in applied research projects, and open new development pathways for students within the FSI ecosystem.

Continuous education for Coritiba’s technical staff

The agreement includes educational scholarships aimed at the club’s professionals, facilitating access to FSI’s Master’s programmes and international certifications, as well as exclusive access to the FSI International Conference, one of the main global meeting points in sports science.

This step represents a firm commitment to innovation and professionalisation, connecting the club’s daily work with the latest trends in performance, health, and analysis in elite football.

FSI LAB + Coritiba: an alliance that generates knowledge

As part of the agreement, Coritiba Foot Ball Club joins as an official collaborating club of FSI Lab, the institute’s applied research laboratory.

During 2026, both entities will explore the development of joint research projects, with the possible participation of FSI faculty, club staff, and certified students who would provide technical and operational support.

The objective of this collaboration is to translate the daily practice of professional football into scientific evidence, generating applicable knowledge shared at an international level.

What does this agreement mean for FSI students?

FSI Training has an educational ecosystem composed of specialised Master’s programmes in key areas of professional football such as performance, sports medicine, nutrition, tactical analysis, injury rehabilitation, and coaching.

Thanks to this new alliance, Coritiba Foot Ball Club joins as an official collaborating club for internships, offering students the opportunity to develop real-world practical experience within a professional environment.

In addition, students will have access to an exclusive job board, directly connecting them with career opportunities within clubs and sports organisations associated with FSI.
