Carlos Hugo García Bayón is part of the FSI Training faculty, contributing a strategic perspective on academy development and football project management, grounded in extensive experience in player development, sporting management, and technical leadership.

He currently serves as Academy Technical Director at Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club in Saudi Arabia, where he leads a youth development project supported by Aramco, focused on the structured identification and development of young talent.
Professional background
With more than 30 years of experience in professional football, Carlos Hugo García Bayón has built his career across a wide range of contexts, from grassroots football to elite clubs, developing a methodology centred on long-term player development.
He has held senior roles at clubs such as RC Celta, where he worked as Academy Director and first-team assistant coach, and FC Barcelona, where he served as a technical assistant within the academy structure, strengthening his expertise in talent development and sporting organisation.
He holds a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, a UEFA Pro Licence, and the official qualification of Sporting Director. Alongside his professional activity, he is also involved in international teaching and knowledge sharing, contributing an applied and strategic perspective to football project leadership.
